When wry New England realtor Hildy Good rekindles a romance with her old high-school flame, Frank Getchell, it ignites long-buried emotions and family secrets that propel Hildy toward a reckoning with the one person she's been avoiding for decades: herself. Based on the best-selling novel by Ann Leary.

This movie really snuck up on me. When we meet Weaver's character, we see that she is a brash and outspoken real estate agent that appears to be completely sure of herself. As the movie progresses, the transformation into something else is slow and fascinating. This is easily Weaver's best work in many years, and she absolutely crushes it. My only criticism of the film is Kline's attempt at a New England accent - it is uneven and distracting. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies
Nice film. With a good message about alcohol and depression.
