I love Sam Elliott and hearing that this was one of his first starring roles I was excited to see what it was like. While I think Sam Elliott did a good job being who they wanted him to be this movie, at least from the perspective of 2022 is horrific. Statutory rape and sexual harassment are treated as funny or like 'it happens' with a shrug and sometimes a laugh. Definitely an interesting movie from the perspective of what's acceptable culturally as time moves but as a movie one you should definitely skip.
