I wish i had my own bodyguard when i was in school because getting bullied was the highlight of my school years.. I really liked that film, and the cast were decent specially adam baldwin that I'm watching in a 2005 series called chuck at the moment and also playing pretty much a bodyguard/agent and defo become a decent actor..

A pretty decent movie, with a good script, decent actors (quite a few of them debuting on screen in this one, Joan Cusack and Adam Baldwin among them). What I like too was the fact that it was entirely shot on location, in Chicago, depicting the city on the late 70's without concession, the nice neighborhoods and parks, as well as the grimy streets and stores. (the scene were Clifford follows Ricky is a good example of those). The locations and cinematography really adds to the realism of the movie.

A decent coming of age that accomplishes what it sets out to do. Its not good, it's just ok. Middle of the road in just about every way. Fine for a watch once through.
