Stumbled upon this film and was intrigued that it was a Roald Dahl creation I hadn't heard of. Hoffman was fantastic as a socially awkward introvert. Dench was delightful as the fun loving widow. Cordery was the perfect encapsulation of self-centered white male privilege and entitlement. Corden's narration amusingly tied the plot pieces into place. If you like tortoises and innocent love stories between elders, you'll enjoy this flick.
