I never watch cheap, straight-to-streaming rom-coms but I knew most of the cast and needed a background flick. This somehow doesn't even work as that. It had my attention for at most 15 minutes till it went off the rails, straight into poo. The culture and stereotypes were great. The romance is anything but picture-worthy. There's zero chemistry or comedy between anyone or anything. Long story short, skip it unless you want poor movie-making of course.
I watched it because of Simone Ashley, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! It turned out to be quite entertaining. I really enjoyed it.
Predictable but it's a cute story to just sit back, relax and watch
Only bad thing I’d say is it’s kinda cheesy and hero and Simone didn’t have the best romantic chemistry. Their kiss scene oof
