In a listing of Danny Kaye's movies ranked by Box Office, this movie is very nearly the middle. That's kind of what I think of it. For a Danny Kaye movie, it is only average. That said, his average film is better than a lot of people's top flick. Just mildly funny and the musical sequences are a little too goofy from my taste, but overall an entertaining flick.
