I'm having a hard time getting through this... I can't find my laughter anywhere 👀
Jo Koy is a decent stand up comic, but his skits are kinda repetitive to begin with. Tiffany Hadish scene, was the best part of this movie.
Wow! If you are really bored and are in for corny comedy then this is a movie for you. Guys, this is a terrible movie. My humble advice is DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME!
We're barely even three minutes in, and I've already spotted a bunch of script continuity blunders. And oh my gosh, let's talk about the editing and that greenscreen – it genuinely made me feel a bit down. This movie had the potential to be a fantastic platform to spotlight Filipino Americans, but I don't think they quite hit the mark. On the brighter side, the wide shots are pretty solid, and I'm digging the color grading. However, I've got to admit, the writing is giving me some major cringes. And can we talk about those name choices – Susan and Junior? It just doesn't sit right with me. I don't know, it's just a bit disheartening...
