and for the second time recently in my seasonal festivities i'm reminded that i'm perhaps not in as much of a "i've truly seen it all" situation as it may feel at times and are not immune to getting rattled by the right films lmao. a bit amateur in filmmaking elements but it makes sense given the cast and crew being made up of volunteers and it kinda fits as is regardless. Brooke Berry was wonderful and i would've loved to have seen her in something else someday, there was just something to her performance here. earlier in i had worried this was going to be leaning a bit into a "BDSM and people who practice it are Crazy right? :crazy_face:" thing but nah the horror elements were thankfully here.
