*Splinter* meets *Phone Booth*, but the killer's your conspiracy theorist uncle on a frenzy! Very simple idea but I like these one location fight for your life thrillers. It's a decent one but nothing we haven't seen before. I got really invested at the beginning it was a good setup with lots of edge-of-your-seat moments. But then you start getting long stretches of social/political arguements that ruin the suspence. It's pretty basic reasoning too, stuff we've all heard before. The arguements are so exagerated that at some point I was questionning if this wasn't satire material... It's NOT that smart. Despite all that it managed to stay thrilling until the end. Awesome kills, lots of blood, decent acting, movie looks good and pretty entertaining. Now I want snacks
It is quite entertaining and keeps you guesing most of the time, what is happening. Too bad the
ending does not give any answers, and leave a bad taste at the end. A good surprise or twist would be better here. Also, I presume the black guy was blind. Hard to explain his behavior othervise.
Less talk and more suspenseful cat and mouse scenes would have helped this movie greatly.
I wanted to at least give it a chance. I don't have any expectations, because there are so many films like this. The plot isn't hard to guess anyway. Another thing is that when evaluating similar productions, the mind is the judge. I always enjoy these kinds of things, but not everyone can pull it off. Few productions have impressed me this much. This film is passable in terms of acting, but it moved slowly while I was watching it. It's a slow-moving film; I've been trying to watch it for a week. If you're looking for this kind of horror, I recommend giving it a watch, but don't expect too much. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad; I'd give it a 5 out of 10. Anyway, thanks for your effort.
Went into it thinking it was a movie. Turns out, it's propaganda.
