I love this movie so much I bought the SD on Amazon Video because its the only format i can find. PUT THIS ON BLU RAY!!!! PLEASE!!!! ITS SO GREAT!!! It's got WTF elements to it that make it a blast but also really cool auteur decisions made with the story and shooting style and suspense building that I'm legit impressed. Love.
Cool, often-forgotten slasher flick. I guess you can say it's kind of is like an American giallo, with the black gloved killer and interesting detectives on the case. Not much actually takes place at or around night school, so that was a bit of a let down, but it's an interesting enough horror movie.
This was a pretty decent thriller. It had some suspenseful moments. I like these types of slashers that keep you guessing until the very end. I thought the opening of this was very strong and set the tone immediately. The rest of the movie was a bit slower but it kept me entertained enough. The characters aren’t all that interesting but that was okay. This was pretty much what I expected it to be. I wanted to watch this before deciding if I should upgrade to the Vinegar Syndrome 4K. I think after watching this I’m perfectly content with my Blu-ray. I’ve learned not everything needs to be upgraded. As it stands I’m happy I watched it and thought it was pretty decent. * Warner Archive Collection Blu-ray
Very interesting and the highly watchable film. At the very least the lovingly photographed Boston from the 1980s is worth the price of admission admission. More of a giallo than a slasher, there was plenty of craziness to keep the viewer interested.
