Handlung
In einer zukünftigen Welt ist die Erde von Umweltverschmutzung betroffen und die Heimat der Menschen liegt in Trümmern. Ein Meteorit schlägt plötzlich auf der Erde ein und bringt tödliche außerirdische Kreaturen mit sich, die 5,6 Millionen Menschen das Leben kosten werden. Das Schicksal der Menschheit steht auf dem Spiel, und Oberbefehlshaber Li Sheng (Cheung Ka Fai) schickt seine Eliteeinheit unter der Führung des Soldaten Tai Loi (Louis Koo) aus, um den Umgestaltungsplan durchzuführen. Kommandant Cheng Chung Sang (Lau Ching Wan) ist dagegen und holt sich die Hilfe seines alten Freundes Skunk (Kang Ho Man). Es gilt, keine Zeit zu verlieren, um das Haus zu retten, aber durch die geflüsterte Warnung seiner Korrespondentin Green (Wu Qian) deckt Tai Lai einen finsteren Plan auf, der die Welt zerstören könnte ......

Well, it is not so bad in total. It has acceptable CGI but with a weak story. I watched it by English audio which irritated me with weird conversations. Action/Sci-Fi fans may find the movie attractive. BTW, the end is open for a sequel. 5.5/10.

Is it me, or does this seem like a campaign in Call of Duty Advance Warfare . . . and I loved it.

Surprisingly solid SciFi show. Special effects were first rate and the action sequences were very good. The story itself is not inspired, but is workable. My main complaint would be the stupid emotional sequences were despite the obvious life threatening urgency, we pause to express heartfelt emotions.

Good watch if you’re into robot / hard aci fi action flicks. It’a a straight forward race against time to save the day.
