Handlung
Bloß raus aus ihrem alten Leben, denkt sich Jessica. Und gibt Gas mit ihrem Volvo, als sie Portland hinter sich lässt. Eine ganz normale Fahrt soll es werden. Bis Jessica auf einer einsamen Landstraße einen alarmierend langsam fahrenden SUV vor sich überholt, der sie sofort darauf bedrängt: Gerade noch kann sie einen Crash mit einem Lastwagen verhindern. Fortan taucht der Fahrer immer wieder auf, unvermittelt, aus heiterem Himmel, drängt sich in Jessicas Leben. Bildet sie sich die Bedrohung nur ein? Doch dann schlägt der Fremde zu. Er verschleppt Jessica, der erst jetzt der Ausmaß des Albtraums bewusst wird, der vor ihr liegt - und aus dem nur sie selbst sich befreien kann ...

Stylishly directed but overall a very by-the-numbers thriller. Decent, but nothing surprising or new.

The film starts off well but as the cat and mouse tale unfolds, it loses some of its tension. Better than a lot of its kind, however, but there are few surprises.

The film is pretty decent. There’s some suspenseful scenes, which I found dragged out a little too long at times where I lost that heart racing moment and just wanted the film to get on with it. Overall the film is pretty good, I enjoyed it

One of those movies where the actual horror is the absurd decision making by the protagonist. But I must admit that the performance by Jules Willcox was pretty remarkable.
