A somewhat predictable but fun 80s slasher. As far as slashers go, this is definitely above average. Sure it’s got some slow moments to it and even though the kill count may be low for a slasher, all the weirdness going on in this and plenty of creepy chills make up for that. There's some great atmosphere in here and the chase scene is quite suspenseful. The seance side plot is so random and I kind of love it. Most characters are likeable as well, but that crazy mortician is without a doubt the highlight of this film. Worth checking out if you're making your way through 80s slashers.

This was an odd duck of a movie. Worth it for the cast though and even more worth it for how Bill Paxton runs off to his mom's gravestone after giving Christie the rose. I mean he is a hop skippin and a jumpin. Too funny. Oh and also Christie is an absolute babe.

Kind of a unique story for a slasher, that could've been great, but it's rather ineffective. I blame myself, I probably built the movie up too much in my head seeing a cast with Bill Paxton and Christopher George... Good score though.
