Lee Cronin's The Mummy
Manche Dinge sollten besser begraben bleiben.

Gen Z Mummy be like Don’t fuck up my pedicure
Yo dawg airdrop me the devil
I barely know anything about the movie going in. Expected some more originality or unique stuff. Turns out it's just a shitty derivative of old things. And the movie had an Intermission. For what reasons I don't know. If they thought the intense imagery or the gore will turn people pale they missed out on that. The dude sitting next to me was having a field day. He was laughing throughout the fucking movie.
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy is a film full of noise and chaos, but no tension or purpose. Scenes don’t build on each other, they just stack, each one trying to outdo the last in volume and intensity. Character work is almost entirely absent. People exist to react, not to drive the story. There’s no restraint. Instead of creating atmosphere, the film overwhelms it. Everything is pushed so hard that it all breaks, and there are no redeeming qualities.
It's been a while since I've really enjoyed a similar horror movie, but I really loved this one, don't really understand the people who didn't like it to be honest. Totally recommend it if you like this kind of horror/gore.
