I think this movie is underrated. This is not a revenge thriller per se. It's not Liam Neeson running around shooting people by the dozen. And maybe this is why people might be dissapointed. No, this is more realistic, more believable. It's about a woman whos life dramatically changed and how her fear and despair turns her on a one way street. Jodie Foster is perfect for the role. She displays the vulnerability, both physically and mentaly, and the coldness in the character equally well. And, man, does she have a voice ! I watched this movie for the second time (which I often do to see if a movie is really good) and I liked it even more than the first time.

A good movie about understanding loss and deep anguish, and the depths that grief can sometimes take a person. Perhaps the best movie I've seen in 2022 thus far, hilarious that I had to go back to 2007 for it.

A slow burn. Jodie Foster is riveting.

Great revenge movie. Very much from the 00’s. Loved that decade.
