Still wondering where the high octane was? Waste of 96 minutes avoid unless you want to wonder if there are worse ways to waste an hour & half!
❤x5 Sadly there isn't much to see here. I only watched it because I thought it was a remake of a completely different movie (Terror Train 1980). It was not. The only octane in this movie is in the tanks of their cars that's about all. The main story is just so-so and ultimately completely unbelievable. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
The movie’s story is about a mother who sacrifices everything for her son’s health. She gets involved in troubles due to trying to afford his treatment and ends up smuggling drugs. The film follows the events leading up to the mother, her son, and her lover fleeing to Mexico.
A cringe fest. Watch it if you want to question your sanity
"Buckle up for high-octane action thrills aboard NIGHT TRAIN." <---- The movie synopsis starts with this. High-octane must have been what they were sniffing when this was written and produced. I didn't expect much from the actors, given they are all unknown. No surprises there. The editing was done by an amateur. There's a scene in this movie (towards the end) where the camera goes back and forth between the two actresses. Each time the camera cuts you can clearly see that one piece of footage was edited with white balance and colour correction, etc., while the other piece was left as-shot looking like a home movie.
