Casey (Haley Lu Richardson) lebt zusammen mit ihrer Mutter in der Kleinstadt Columbus im Bundesstaat Indiana. Einst hatte sie große Pläne für ihre Zukunft außerhalb der Heimatstadt. Doch Caseys Gewissen lässt es nicht zu, ihre drogenabhängige Mutter alleine zu lassen. Diese ist nämlich gerade auf dem Weg der Besserung. Eines Tages kommt ein Architekt namens Jin (John Cho) in die Stadt, der seinen im Koma liegenden Vater besucht. Als Casey und Jin sich kennenlernen, helfen sie sich gegenseitig durch die schwierige Zeit.

A nice movie with great acting from Haley Lu Richardson and John Cho. This needs more people watching it.

Such a touching story about friendship, parent and children relatioships and selflessness. I just loved every second of it. The more movies i watch with Haley the more i love her work, she is so good in this role i can't even begin to describe it. Same for John Cho, really good performance from both, good chemistry and all that jazz. I can say i teared up a bit in some parts, definitly worth it.
