I need to watch more modern Philippine cinema. This was a pretty good one. Set during the time Spain realised they couldn't hold on to the Philippines as a colony and sold it to the US, who promptly moved forces in. Its a bit slow and the action sequences aren't really on a par with Hollywood action but it's a decent film.
