Cheesy but awesome 80s medieval fantasy set during Christmas time! It's something you'd find on bottom shelves that's questionable and certainly don't hold up now but it has its charm and takes you back to your childlike sense of imagination.

I want to hate on this, but I understand it was not a huge production. It is kind of a mess story; but a lot of these fantasy pics of that time were. Ronald Lacey (Toad from Raiders of the Lost Ark) played a good creep in here, I liked Peter Cushing and John Rhys-Davies in their roles; but Miles O'Keeffe is about as wooden as you can get. I think his voice was dubbed in. What a mess.
