Handlung
Nachdem seine Familie vom Söldner Sub-Zero eiskalt ermordet wurde, wird Hanzo Hasashi in das albtraumhafte Netherrealm verbannt. Dort erhält er vom teuflischen Quan Chi im Gegenzug für seine Dienste die Gelegenheit, seine Familie zu rächen, und wird als Scorpion wiedergeboren. Derweil stellt Lord Raiden in Earthrealm ein ungewöhnliches Team von Elitekämpfern zusammen, um die Menschheit vor dem Untergang zu retten: den Shaolin-Mönch Liu Kang, die Offizierin Sonya Blade und den Actionstar Johnny Cage. Ihre Mission ist es, Shang Tsungs Horden von Outworld-Gladiatoren zu besiegen und das Mortal Kombat zu gewinnen.

The story was basic, but the action, oh my god, the action! The fights were satisfyingly brutal and gory with all the X-ray moves you can imagine from the games. The fights were great, too, though I expected more trademark moves from Johnny. The others were fantastic, showing off all their signature moves. I hope they make a sequel with bigger, better fights!

Wow! Surprisingly great badass animation! Reminded me all of my good memories from amazing MK video game.Please continue this series. Totally recommended.
