Part 2 feels way more dragged out than the first. The long fight sequences don't really move the story forward, and the ending completely spoon-feeds everything, as if treating the audience like they lack basic intelligence. It could've easily been cut short by an hour. Still, compared to those shitty YRF spyverse movies, this series feels like absolute gold. Once again, the only thing legitimizing this feeble attempt at propaganda is the sincere opposition from leftists... who, just like the filmmakers, seriously doubt the intelligence of the audience. Even people who rely on WhatsApp University for their information will have a hard time believing this is factual, thanks to the massive over-dramatization. The signs are obvious: the characters only share a physical appearance with real people, but the similarity ends right there. For instance, Sanyal is shown working silently in the shadows, never getting credit. In reality, his real-world lookalike literally gives TV interviews and gets entire news shows dedicated to praising his work. It’s a clear sign of incompetence when an intelligence chief can’t match in action what he pulls off in his own fantasies. His supposed influence over foreign key figures, including Pakistani officers, is completely fantasized. We all know how much that "influence" actually helped during the most recent conflict when the global community sided with Pakistan. At the end of the day, the movie is just what it is: an entertaining masala spy thriller with real-life events sprinkled in like grains of salt to make it feel immersive. But even that immersion gets broken by the over-the-top dramatization and hilarious lines, like having a villain like Dawood being terrified of a chaiwallah... lol.

If you ever wondered what the reality be like if you believed all those WhatsApp forwards about note ban, this is it. The whatsapp cinematic universe (Indian edition). It's long but engaging. Pretty solid sequel. Go watch it.
