Considering this a propaganda movie is like considering religious books history books... there is simply no way anyone actually believes this stuff is 100% real. Yeah, they've sprinkled in some real events here and there, but that’s just a standard cinematic trick to connect fiction with reality and establish parallelism. It’s exactly what filmmakers did with movies made around 9/11. Frankly, the only reason this movie got any stamp of legitimacy in the public eye is because of the massive pushback from leftists crying "propaganda" over it. If anything, the film just ends up showcasing the absolute incompetency of that Sanyal guy, who clearly doesn't even look or feel like a real-life intelligence officer (God save us if he does). The man doesn't even have the decency to resign when his so-called mission crashes and burns. Instead, he stays completely glued to his position, basically twiddling his thumbs and waiting for a "patriotic leader" to arrive. And since he's still sitting in the exact same spot with absolutely nothing to show for it in real life, his wait is clearly not over. No surprises there, though... since when did politicians actually become patriotic in their conduct and actions, rather than just in their speeches?
>TO THE "UNKNOWN MEN" WHOSE NAMES WE MAY NEVER KNOW. THEY, WHO OPERATE FROM THE SHADOWS SO MOTHER INDIA CAN STAND TALL. YOUR COURAGE AND SACRIFICE BINDS THIS NATION TOGETHER. WE REMAIN FOREVER GRATEFUL. _**What a movie!** Just go and watch it in the cinema hall — you can only enjoy it to the fullest there._ The brutality and rawness take it to another level,
making up for the lack of the spy-thriller elements
. The performances of each and every actor are top-notch. Especially Akshaye Khanna — Aditya Dhar literally makes him feel like the **apex predator**.
In the climax, there’s a scene where Hamza sees Rehman smoking in his imagination after Rehman’s death, and in that moment I really thought, “WTF! He isn’t dead yet.”
The music composition is just fire. _Sachdev sir really cooked it in the finest way possible._ The only thing I think is a downside is the length. If they wanted, they could have easily made it 20–30 minutes shorter — though ==it doesn’t really feel that long==, so never mind.
If you watch closely, one of the shops Ranveer Singh and his ally enter is named Washma Butt😂
That tense car sequence with title track was the peak of the film. Well done.
