I thought it was really funny when Stifler...oops wrong movie right guy. Sure he plays the exact same character in every movie but it was hilarious here. This movie had laughs from beginning to end. Even the swearing around the kids didn't feel wrong like _Bad Santa_. If you are a KISS fan, this movie is an absolute must see. The costumes and music reference will make your day.

Another winner for me. Great cast and plenty of laughs. This era had some of the best comedy films.

There are comedies that thrive on excess, on jokes thrown without a safety net, on the thrill of watching something proudly inappropriate. Role Models tries to play in that field, but rarely lands a hit. It has a couple of moments that actually work —far too few for its runtime— and a handful of amusing ideas, but most of the time it feels like it’s trying way too hard to be funny. The issue isn’t stupidity itself, but repetition. The film keeps recycling the same setups, stretching situations that have already run their course, trusting volume over wit. When it works, you notice; when it doesn’t, which is most of the time, the humor becomes loud and exhausting. What holds it together, barely, is the cast and the occasional line of dialogue that manages to lift a scene. There’s also a certain accidental charm in how it brushes against nerd culture, though it never really commits to exploring it. It could have been sharper, meaner, less self-satisfied. Its need to wrap everything up with a feel-good message ends up weighing it down. The movie wants to be crude but lovable, irreverent but sweet. That forced balance drains what little personality it has. Not a total disaster, but very much a missed opportunity. Out of countless attempts, only a couple genuinely land. The rest fades away in noise, sugar, and forgettable filler.

Hilarious and ridiculous. If you like Apatow-style comedies you're sure to dig this on some level.

Fantstic comedy... However, it is for the mature - lots of sexual innuendo.
