I expected this to be really stupid. It was actually pretty good. People who don't own headphones should not be allowed to own other devices.
To be honest, the first like 20 or so minutes of Roommates are quite good except got a bit annoyed with the Dean narration and wish it wasn’t in movie. The last few minutes around the ending is when film got lost and got chaotic which sort of ruined the experience though the cameo is cool to see. Sadie Sandler and Chloe East are good on performance and Aidan Langford as well. I was really hoping that Roommates be something on Mean Girls level but in the end was rather disappointed, it isn’t super terrible but not very great, though I could see some people enjoy this.
So much funnier than I was expecting, great story ideas
Iba sin expectativas y me ha terminado gustando, se me ha hecho muy amena y me ha gustado mucho la protagonista.
The movie begins with two roommates at each other's throats and ending up in the counsellor's office. Then it goes off track with Celeste and Devon's (love) story. That was purely absurd for me. It lacked any sense of coherence and simply existed to make commentary which the writers thought were clever but could not include in any other manner. Celeste was beyond unbearable and I praise Chloe East and Sadie Sandler for delivering so crisply. It was entertaining but definitely not very memorable—neither in its story nor in its execution.
