We've all seen this movie at least 100 times. Son/daughter leaves home and returns as a prodigal brother/sister, whatever and everything is uncomfortable and awkward then they transform and everyone that was left behind welcome them to stay after a few tearjerker moments. Alan Cumming returns to his old home and family business..a distillery. He has a daughter (who's black...of course) and she's a single mom (of course). Got those DEI/woke boxes crossed off. He's been gone 40 years but everyone knows who he is...kinda odd because he looks nothing like the teenager that left in 1986. I'm not going to ruin any more...but you have seen the entire story before, just the scenery is better. 4/10
