Sisu: What if John Wick but old man in WW2. Sisu 2: What if John Wick but old man in WW2 AND some Fury Road. Action movie distilled down to simple ideas sometimes just work.

Main character parried a fighter jet with some wooden planks in this movie. Peak cinema. I loved how it just decided to not give a fuck and go full cartoon physics. What an insane movie.

I liked the first Sisu movie for it's over-the-top action. But that's nothing compared to what they have concocted for this second instalment. You have to see it to believe it!

I've read some of the reviews of this movie and I probably agree with all of the criticisms. The movie is absurd and completely over-the-top with some of the action scenes. It also has plot holes. And it is also absolutely glorious. My family and I rarely say anything during movies, and we were laughing and cheering during the whole film. I don't know that I have ever had a better time watching a movie. Hilariously cartoonish over-the-top WW2 aftermath action that makes so much fun to watch. The main actor Jorma Tommila has so much charisma, physical strength and facial expression, he doesn’t need words to see and understand what’s going on in him. You feel his pain, his sorrow and love, you feel and see his anger, rage and determination. Excellent flic, good cinematography, excellent sound design and original score, good production values and set design. Proof, what is possible with a decent budget, creativity and passion. A juicy, solid sequel. Highly recommended of you like Grindhouse cinema flavored with satirical exagerated 80s action cinema like Commando, Rambo II and Robocop.
