Take Cover otherwise the movie will snipe you with Boredom.
There's one question I want to ask people who love this movie. What exactly did you like? Personally, I exploded with boredom at the mediocrity of the acting. I'm not going to prolong it, I think it's bad. Not worth watching, shameful for your 89 minutes.
Da pra assistir, passar o tempo, não é algo que te marcará.
This is very much a straight-to-video action flick: not terrible, not memorable, and mostly valuable as a delivery system for Scott Adkins shooting, punching, and looking morally troubled in an expensive hotel suite. This time he plays a conflicted sniper-assassin, which at least gives him something slightly different to do, but the story is so straightforward and predictable that any suspense the movie was hoping for got lost in the elevator on the way up to the penthouse. The acting is rough, the pacing is sluggish, and the whole “let’s keep most of this in one fancy room” setup feels less like artistic choice and more like somebody checking the budget every ten minutes. There’s a hint of buddy-movie energy, a few solid action scenes, and enough Adkins competence to keep it from sinking to the absolute bottom of the bin, but it’s slow to start, slow in general, and honestly more enjoyable when you skip ahead to the parts where people finally start hitting each other. Just okay, and nowhere near his best.
