Season 10
Season ten picks up six months after last season’s finale: Frank uses his leg injury to collect as many prescription drugs as possible and his exploits lead him to an old friend. Debbie rules over the Gallagher household with an iron fist. Lip navigates his relationship with Tami. And Gallavich returns as Ian and Mickey rekindle their relationship in prison as both cellmates and lovers.

Frank milks his injury for all its worth as Debbie, now the self-elected leader of the Gallagher family, cooks up a scam of her own. Lip and Tami get a surprise. Carl returns home from military school and Liam faces an identity crisis.

Feeling the pressure from Debbie, Frank sets out to make money to keep his place in the house, but Mikey has bigger plans for him. Liam gets to know his newfound family members as Frank revels in his new position in the Gallagher house. Lip looks for support as the pressures of fatherhood take their toll. Ian and Mickey make a decision about their future, and Carl tries to woo Anne despite Lori’s efforts to get in his way.

Frank and Mikey set off on a day of adventure around the city in pursuit of Mikey’s dreams. Debbie discovers a new way to make money in the midst of a strike as Lip leans on his new friend for parenting advice. Carl gets more than he bargained for when he offers to help Anne. Liam grows suspicious of his seemingly perfect mentor.

Frank hatches the idea for a new scheme when an unexpected visitor shows up at the Gallagher house. With Tami back in the house, Lip struggles to give up control of Fred. Debbie’s fight for child support escalates and Carl tries to juggle multiple romantic prospects. Ian returns home and is immediately thrown in with a corrupt parole officer.

Frank and Liam get wined and dined by potential baby buyers. Carl comes up with a strategy to protect Anne’s family business, and Ian gets on Paula’s bad side. Backed into a corner, Debbie fights to protect Franny from Pepa. A figure from Kev’s past makes him reconsider his childhood.

Carl embraces his civic duty while Debbie searches for her next payday. Frank meets the woman of his dreams, and Ian and Mickey get roped into a dangerous scam for Paula. When tragedy strikes at the Alibi, Kev and V go undercover to find new customers.
Debbie Might Be a Prostitute
Debbie weighs the pros and cons of a new career path. Frank uncovers the truth about Faye’s living situation. A miscommunication between Ian and Mickey has disastrous consequences and Lip and Tami disagree over who should be taking care of Fred.
O Captain, My Captain
Frank goes back in time to uncover his connection to Faye, as Debbie’s day with Claudia’s daughter goes awry. Carl takes extreme measures to toughen up his new group of cadets. Ian struggles to connect with Mickey after their blowup.
Now Leaving Illinois
An incident in the Tamietti family presents Lip and Tami with a new opportunity. Faye’s betrayal lands Frank in front of a judge. Mickey’s antics drive Ian to online dating. Carl makes an unexpected discovery at his new job.
Location, Location, Location
Frank finds a cushy place to make his new home. Lip gets cold feet when Tami moves forward with a plan for their future. Ian sees a new side of Mickey, and Debbie’s love triangle reaches a breaking point.

Liam out-Gallaghers Frank, Lip works to convince Tami to stay in Chicago with their baby, Debbie turns over a new romantic leaf and Kev’s new business takes off, but V wonders where the money is going.

This is one of these shows where the producer simply doesn't know how to say goodbye. I mean the show was great but now they are just milking it. Like why mess up such a masterpiece. The story at this point is "blah". Look even Emmy Rossum got tired of this and said "f this. I am out. See you guys in the South Side when I see ya"
Just end the show. Please. Every season has less coherent story and more political crap delivered in such a heavy-handed manner it's not even funny. We finally got past all the Gay Jesus crap only to be met with more of Debbie's obnoxious brand of "feminism" and Liam reflecting on his blackness. My problem isn't with the coverage of these issues, no--it's with the way it's delivered. The writers these days are too incompetent to be subtle about it so episode 2 literally has a salesman try to solicit a blowjob from Debbie then reveal he only did it because he's a fragile white male who gave up on his dreams. At various points in the episode, Debbie gets such blunt lines as "Why are men so pervy?" and countless others reaffirming her womanhood. In what I guess was an effort to cover hot button issues from both genders, when Carl asks his manager if she's sexually harassing him, she gives him the old "it's okay because you're a guy". I guess we're supposed to pat ourselves on the back for being woke enough to get that this was a joke about that being wrong? All in all, this show has lost everything that made it great--namely, Emmy Rossum. Fiona was a character who didn't need to tell us through ham-fisted dialogue that she was a strong woman--we could see in every episode. Lip is the only character giving this show direction now but I feel like I've watched the "raising a kid" thing so many times now that I'm not even really that interested in that either.
Emmy Rossums character was the glue to this show and it very much fell apart when she quit and it now feels like they are trying to do a pure comedy show. The rollercoaster realism and darkness are all gone even though they try to keep it up with the story of Lip but it never really takes off. I almost called it quits during the low grade farcical episodes that centered around Frank and Mikey that has to be one of the low marks for this show. And why didn't they just re-shoot the whole opening scene instead of this mishmash? Hope they can snap it up a bit and give this show the funeral it deserves in the next and final season.
It’s clear the writers didn’t have a plan for this season and didn’t know what to do with the characters. All they had were political hot points to cover and decided to spoon feed them to the audience. The wedding was nice but it was just a ploy to keep fans watching and get a renewal.
