I actually really liked the new season. Yes, it’s different than the first outing and gave a complete upheaval to the plot dynamics, but it’s actually really fun. Not only did the expand the cast, but shines a light on each member in an enjoyable way. I think what people really dislike about it are that they’re vignettes. But I think it adds a quality and digestibility to the series. Very high energy, very fun.

I don't know why pp says season 2 was bad, maybe because of the bad English VAs. I agree. The VAs in season 1 were perfect camper to awful VA Of S2 it was that much awful I watch it with Japanese VA. But the VA thing aside the whole show was really phenomenon as S1 with the same crazy hilarious narrative and story The only difference, I think, was that there was less creativity in the episodes than in S1, and the story was more focused on violence and action and those crazy, epic scenes. I mean, we still had those creative episodes, we still had those very humorous dialogues between the characters, but it didn't have the depth of season one. But overall, it was really close to being a fantastic as season one, and I hope season three doesn't take a decade to make.

This season didn't have the same sort of charm as the first season. The transliteration felt so annoying sometimes, and the replacement of the English dub cast was such a shame. Some episodes felt meh, as they relied on dated memes and or pop culture, but some other episodes’ musicals felt just right, making this season a mixed bag. Despite these flaws and more, it always managed to keep me watching the episodes and some aspects of this season were faithful to the first season.
