I've probably seen this movie a dozen times or more. It came out when I was in highschool. We had the soundtrack on repeat for weeks. It's a great movie even to this day. Dark, gritty and sad. The fact that Brandon died makes it even harder to watch. I imagine he had quite a future ahead of him.
He always smile Brandon Lee did a great job his mimic art is just amazing The Story is good enough for me. Revenge is always a good movie plot.
This is one amazing film, with a mesmerizing performance from Brandon Lee!
"If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever." The Crow is just such an awesome looking film. The whole atmosphere is dark but dark in a great way. I love Brandon Lee in this as Erick Draven. I love way he looks as the Crow. I really enjoy the soundtrack and I love the way they went with this revenge story. I have never read the comic it is based on but I am very interested in it but what I have read here and there this is one of the best comic book movies of the 90s. Which sound great, I love the film how can I not love the comic it was inspired by? Anyway we will never know how Brandon Lee's career would have panned out or how the Crow would be viewed on without the incident but I think that it would still be received as a very good film and still loved today.
I can't believe it took me so long to finally see this. For some reason, I always thought it's the goth version of _The Prophecy_, and I couldn't get into that film at all. But this one's surprisingly great. It's a thrilling and tragic supernatural crime revenge story with incredible visuals and action sequences. It feels like watching a Batman film (I don't remember which one) but better. I very much dig the aesthetic that this goes for and the connection between rock music and lead character's grief and accumulated anger. It feels broody and warm with just the right touches of humor. Lee's performance really stands out for its range of emotions. The soundtrack is awesome as well. The horrible events during the production of this film makes it so much more impactful.
