This movie feels like finding some old song on YouTube and realizing there’s a whole story behind it. It’s a little slow, but the music and the feeling of chasing a dream are what keep it going.

Is Casey Affleck an a--hole just like his character in the movie? Probably but anyway, still a good movie despite making his character a bit annoying.

I wanted to like this more than I did. The performances are great across the board and the idea of your dream coming true after you have essentially gave up is a ripe premise. The movie as a whole doesn’t quite deliver where it should.
