As a fan of classic psych rock I'd hope that this movie wasn't in any way accurate to the actual common psychedelic band experience. It kind of destroyed the mythos for me about something that I didn't really know about, and I'm happy with that. I suppose if I wasn't such a fan of the music that this movie centered around then it wouldn't have bothered me. What about the actual movie? It's pretty basic and OK. Pretty missable.
