Mardaani cane back and with a bang!! It cranks up the brutality and urgency, sometimes to the point of discomfort, and that intensity is its biggest strength. Rani Mukerji is even more assured here, calm, focused, and terrifyingly composed, making Shivani feel like a seasoned officer who’s seen too much to flinch. Vishal Jethwa is chilling, especially in how casually violent he is, and the film doesn’t blink while showing the consequences. The pacing is sharp, the atmosphere tense, but the writing occasionally leans into shock over nuance. Still, it’s gripping, fearless, and arguably more visceral than the first.

Fast paced crime thriller with no bullcrap masala built in. Rani's performance was amazing but Vishal Jethwa's brilliant performance and character stole the show. A must watch Indian movie. 8/10
