This movie is everything you'd expect it to be. Which is exactly why I enjoyed it! (I do have a soft spot for disaster/creature features). Predictable plot, some decent tense moments, and just pure fun! See you later alligator 😉😄

not a bad movie, but it's like the new fast and furious movies, you have to turn off your brain to enjoy fully.

_Crawl_ came out of nowhere and bit me in the ass. I wasn't expecting much more than a smile, but _Crawl_ had teeth and had me in its Jaws from the get-go. Most summer monster movies are simply excuses for good posters _(The Meg_, anyone?), but skilled French director Alexandre Aja (_The Hills Have Eyes_ remake, 2006) brings some original touches to the genre, and even when he stays in the realm of the cliché, he has the decency to never let up the pace.

A surprisingly solid gator flick with good gore/practical effects, tied together with a servicable story and characters. Regardless of the water levels on show, expect nothing of depth from Crawl and you'll come away satisfied, just buckle in and enjoy the ride.
