One of the best acting performances by Gibson that I have seen. He depicts a guy with a mental illness who tries to tackle it by himself with a beaver puppet. While he is the guy who is obviously mentally ill, the movie shows that there are many other people around him who have some sort of mental illness. Even if you may not agree with all the conclusions of the movie, it certainly gives a lot of ideas to think and discuss about.
