Nominated for an Oscar as Best Documentary Short. The concentric circles eminating away from war take us from Alepo to a little town in Germany. A family's struggles and then decision that the Father should stay and fight, facing an uncertain future, while the Mother and 4 children flee from the conflict. A story seen from the eyes of children and adults. A story worth telling and seeing. I give it a 10 out of 10. I'm a Canadian and I try to watch all of CBC (our national broadcaster)'s _Passionate Eye_ which features documentaries from all over the world. This is how I saw this important film.
