I was actually surprised that this was actually a quite decent movie. It’s not scare at all but the story is quite good and even the execution is almost all the time good as well. As with all horror movies I was expecting some kind of weird twist somewhere in the middle but there wasn’t. It’s really predictable but altogether way over my really low expectations. Was also surprised to see Uma Thurman in this.

Thurman is suitably weird as the loopy headmistress, and the plot is bonkers enough to maintain interest, but the movie could ultimately have been better. B+ for story and concept; C for execution.

Why is it that when someone has an interesting idea for a horror film, they almost never seem to get the ending right? It's still a decent movie and surprisingly better than what I thought it would be.
