Biggest disappointment is the little yoga in this film, otherwise thoroughly watchable, but nothing compelling or worth watching, and way too long, hard skip
Don't understand how this shit still got 66% here, another "movie?" by Jackie Chan these year, I understand his work priority is no longer movies now, but all of his new movies just destroyed his godly image in my memory for all of his old movies in his prime time......this shit is not even a movie, and it has nothing to do with Yoga. DON'T WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME FOR THIS THING!!!
Dumb, loud, and completely aware of it - and somehow that's both the problem and the only saving grace. The CGI is genuinely rough. The lion in the car. The hyenas. The opening battle sequence. All of it looks like a PS3 cutscene. The writing doesn't try at all. But Jackie still has that charm. You can feel he's having fun, and that energy leaks through occasionally. The Bollywood dance number at the end though - nobody asked for that, and nobody was ready for it either. Switch your brain fully off and it's passable.
Watched this on International Yoga Day lol. I remember I was so hyped as a kid when it released. I used to listen to "Ghoosebump" whenever I got chance; It should have been in the movie :/. it's really nice to see they putting both culture together; like Dance in Indian cinema and Parkour in Chinese cinema. But now this feels silly. It is cast focused rather than plot. It lacked the suspense that the mystery movie needs. The film covers vast genres, and I think that the focus on comedy may have held it back from reaching its full potential.
I really liked how they added animal interactions in whole movie, but make it feel like a zoo.
I am just curious to know editing and sound designing about this film as it has three different languages!
I have many complaints about this movie, so much so that I had to open notepad and take notes while watching it! First off, I watched the trailer and thought this was going to be an amazing movie, like 10/10 amazing. I saw Lay plays a role in it and my expectations were even higher. Let's just say... I was let down by this movie. Here are my complaints: - The green screen in some shots looks terrible. - Why give Lay a yellow car and then give half the cops a yellow car, as well? - Speaking of the car, that move he pulled is so unrealistic I just had to roll my eyes. - Why the lion? Is it supposed to be comedic? Because it's not. - This movie tries so hard to be funny, but 99% of the jokes fall so hard. I only laughed once and I can't even remember what scene made me laugh. - All three guys went stupid as soon as they saw the pretty girls. I hate this trope. - Says it's important history/treasure and then proceeds to use it as a weapon/destroy it. The only saving grace of this movie was Lay, honestly. Maybe if he had more screen time, this movie would have been better. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed because my expectations were so high or if this movie just really flopped. Either way, I'm quite sad at the result. It was very underwhelming. Also... Chinese Markiplier.
