Yaariyan is basically a two-hour music video pretending to be a movie. The story is paper-thin, the drama is overcooked, and half the time it feels like scenes exist just to connect songs. The performances are raw in the “first-day-of-acting-class” way, and the college setup feels more fantasy than reality. But the music? That’s only where it wins. The songs carry the film hard and give it whatever emotional pull it has. Cringey, loud, messy… but weirdly nostalgic if you watched it at the right time.
