This is one I have been aware of for some time but I have never been in a rush to watch it as it sounded pretty lame. But it's not bad. A very gentle film and an easy watch. I can't say I loved it or that it amounted to too much in the end but the central character was kind of interesting. Not someone I had heard about.

A nice feminist work with a reasonably fierce performance by Davis. Sam Neill stole the show for me, as he tends to do.
