As a story, it's got more holes than Swiss cheese. So bad in places it's beyond "laughable"; it's actually horribly atrocious. They didn't do a lot to make the story feasible, and it's way too much like JCVD's _Lionheart_ to be considered original in any way whatsoever. That being said, however, the fight scenes are what you're looking for, and you won't leave disappointed. Don't watch it as a story with some fighting in it; watch it as a string of fights with a bad story woven in.

It has a lot of shortcomings in terms of story, but if we consider it as a fighting movie, it's fine, it makes you watch.

Rating it as a martial arts flick, this is a cracker. MJW is a monster. Some excellent fight scenes. 8/10
