While clearly operating on a budget-friendly scale, Dolan’s Cadillac manages to be a surprisingly gritty adaptation of the Stephen King novella. The film leans into some over-the-top performances, that occasionally border on theatrical, but their intensity helps fuel the story's slow-burn obsession. Despite its modest production values, it serves as a decent enough revenge thriller to catch on cable late at night.

After witnessing the murder of illegal aliens. A man’s wife is killed by mobsters led by Christian Slater. Which is leads Robinson (Wes Bentley) on a mission for revenge. Bently isn’t the best actor for the revenge role but Christian Slater is much better as Dolan. He helps make this Stephen King adaptation better than it has a right to be.
