Granted, I watched this one "out of order", not realizing this WWF Pay-Per-View had started back in 1993, so after watching multiple other PPV cards, I had to go back and watch the 1993 and 1994 KoTR events to catch up. All in all, this wasn't a "bad" card but it didn't really have anything earth-shattering or noteworthy on it. Several of the matches were interesting but others seemed like they were just time-fillers. That "tag team championship" match between Crush & Yokozuna vs The Headshrinkers...wow, what a waste. At one point, I actually felt sorry for Rodney Anoa'i (Yokozuna) for having to fall out of the ring that many times. (Seems like that's really the only way they can honestly sell a victory over someone his size.) And while I realize it's all scripted, the storyline they used with Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart (RIP) was weak at best. Roddy Piper was always a favorite - even as a 'heel' - because he was just a natural loudmouth with a great off-the-cuff wit about him, while Jerry Lawler...I admit, I never, EVER saw how he became so popular as a potato-shaped, lumpy one-dimensional guy who had to have his "humor" scripted for him. (The number of times he botched his own jokes...wow.) Suffice it to say, I watched this simply because I want to (eventually, some day) say that I've watched all the WWE PPV events, but in all honesty, I'm glad this one is over.
