One of those rare films that feels larger than cinema itself, it comes out of screen and takes you in. It takes a simple underdog story and builds it into an epic where every moment, every character, and every run matters. The pacing is long, but maybe it can be the hiccup for some. However the slow buildup makes the final match incredibly rewarding. The music elevates everything, turning key moments into memories. It’s immersive, uplifting, and deeply satisfying, the kind of film that defines an era.

This movie is a cornerstone in Indian cinema, meaningful and just full of charm.

A film about how white people suck that also dips its toes into how ableist Indian culture can be wrapped up in a really fucking long but still engaging Bollywood sports film, that also has ear work, some great false finishes building up into a hell of an actual finish? Easy crowd pleaser

It probably means more to Indians or if you are a fan of cricket, but for me this was by far the weakest movie I've seen with Aamir Khan. There is nothing special about it. Generic plot and characters.
