so the mother got paped in the end. Subtle. And a lot of historic info was put on in this film subtlety if you at least put a time and effort about the conflict, you will catch these things/hints like the factory events leading to the rising tension that was already brewing.
Great movie showing how the zionists came to Palestine and started to occupy the Palestinian land and the ethnic cleansing with their crimes on the indigenous people of Palestine, this is just a small part of the atrocities that happened against the Palestinian people. FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA PALESTINE WILL BE FREE
Possibly a little one-sided, but that's to be expected these days. But it is a very good film. Very well shot and acted. But it never blew me away. I didn't feel too connected to anyone in the story. Even at its most emotional moments. BIOTB - Blame it on the British!

[IFFR '26] It can sometimes be imprecise and one-sided, portraying Arabs solely as victims of violence, not as instigators, and rendering the Jewish community invisible, practically only mentioned in conversations. But it offers a different perspective from the usual narrative, fueling reflection on how the genocide against the Palestinian people is rooted in the consequences of European colonialism and antisemitism. And within its strong historical epic character, it contains a profound look at the past as the source of present-day problems.
