This is the epitome of the 80's teen flick. It has everything you could want on your nostalgia trip -- Pheobe Cates, a shower scene, lots of naked "high school" girls, a playmate of the month, a Lady Godiva inspired horse ride, and a rockin' soundtrack that even has a Rick Springfield song so you're covered. There is not a lot to the story here as Christine(Cates) and Jim(Matt Modine) love each other and want to have sex for the first time in the exact moment at the perfect place(kind of like _American Pie_) but her rival Jordan is out to steal Jim away. There is lots of hijinks along the way with the standard pranks. The girl closest to the camera in the required shower scene is Lynda Wiesmeier Playmate of the Month July 1982.

An American juvenile comedy for boys in their puberty. This one is though even more stupid, shallow and has even worse jokes than other entries in this category. Well, if you want to see a few half-naked great looking girls, you can get it. The rest is more than forgettable.

Look, I enjoy an 80's titty-flick as much as the next person, but this movie not aged well. It's full of date-rape, sexual assault and peeping toms. I'm sure this was a laugh-riot in the 80's, but watching it in 2024 was problematic to say the least: the women in this film are at best portrayed as tits-out-ditsy-bimbos. The men are just awoooga-yeah-yeah-omg-girls-tits-awooga!. I actually felt embarrassed.
