If you can get past the raunch and some pretty disgusting scenes, you will see this is actually a love story. It is hidden well behind the wall of F bombs but it is there. I watched this with a group of 30 somethings and we were laughing the entire time. I really enjoyed Justin Long as Brandon St. Randy the gay date of Bobby Long at the reunion. Speaking of the reunion, you have to watch the bonus material to see the speech Zack gives upon winning the award for travelling the shortest distance to the reunion. I can't believe it was cut from the film. Great to see Jay and Randall from _Clerks_ too, they were outstanding. Double Dutch Rudder was hilarious. You must understand this movie is not for everyone, there is a tremendous amount of swearing and one disgusting scene with feces but it's all in fun :)

A really funny movie and not as childish as one would expect, even has some heartfelt moments.

I love Kevin Smith and I think this is one of his most accessible films. Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks are great together, they have a very natural chemistry. [SPOILER] The scene where the two of them are filming and what should be acting turns into something real... I didn't expect that in such a raunchy comedy. And then when Zack sees Miri with someone else and has to pretend he doesn't care, that's everything. [/SPOILER] Craig Robinson made me laugh a lot, he steals every scene. It's unapologetically raunchy but has heart, which is what I like most about Kevin Smith's style.
