A film suffused with pure joy throughout, along with a hefty dose of Bolshevik jokes. The writing is lovely and the relationship is fun--this is a chicken soup kind of movie for me.

Love Greta Garbo in this film, the transformation of a cold almost programmed robot into a woman in love with the possibilities of life: great performance! Nice pace to the movie, highly recommended.
