Loved it! Emily Blunt was brilliant, especially towards to end. And this actually made me read up a lot on Queen Victoria and the Royal family in general ..

An exceptionally beautiful movie. Emily Blunt's performance was exemplary, not only does she resemble Victoria immensely, but her manner and tone was just superb. I love how this movie focuses on not only her love with albert, the driving force in her early life, but her desire to improve the life of her subjects. It portrays VIctoria's devotion to her people and her husband, and the turbulent struggles of her early reign. This movie is just so exceptional, it makes me cry every time.

A well acted and well made biography of the beginnings of one of the most influential monarchs in history. While she ended up reigning for 63 years, this is the story of her difficult beginnings of that reign. While Emilie Blunt seems a bit too good looking as compared to the portraits of Victoria, it is still a good movie showing the intrigues and power plays around the young queen.

A well written, directed and acted portrayal of a young Queen Victoria. Watch out for the wind getting in your eyes at the end. It caught me off guard.
