A really cool idea, but with the way it’s presented here it starts to feel so repetitive after a while. This could’ve been more interesting with a bird’s eye/academic perspective, because the end result here reads too much like a travel log. There are a lot of overlapping themes that come up during every country he visited for this documentary, so surely an anthropologist like Sam Dunn should be able to add depth and context to those findings. Also, like his previous work, the filmmaking isn’t anything to write home about. 4/10
